Over the course of generations of family law cases one resounding truth seems to be taking over our legal conversations. Family Law in Florida needs to be reformed. Some of the more clear suggestions to our fair system have been as follows:

• Allow binding orders to be made by parental coordinators who serve as mediators

• Make custody order violations a misdemeanor making it easier to levy fines

• Create a team of family law enforcement officers whose only occupation would be to enforcing custody orders.

It seems that the system is still broke in regards to the fight for the most vulnerable in these situations. Children need advocates and our system should protect them first. The complexity of laws and layers of bureaucracy has made Family Law one of the most challenging areas for individuals to find justice.
