The house that I have rented for ten years; was sold. The New owner is asking the tenants to leave as soon as possible. When I questioned my last month's rent and security deposit; I was told that it wouldn't be returned to me. I contacted James Brown Law with my questions. I was transferred after answering a few questions; to Attorney John. John was so helpful! And eased my distress! He answered all of my questions.He was very thorough,and knowledgeable.He advised me of Florida statutes that I was ignorant of..He even made time to explain my rights as a tenant, and the Law, several times to me. I had concerns about what could happen to my property if I was to suddenly have an unfortunate accident.After speaking with Guy and Eva from James Brown law, they set up a Life Estate Deed that would protect my property from heading to probate court and would be directly handed over to my son.The process was easy and most of all, a definite stress reliever for me.Thank you Guy and Eva .
